Lausanne NoSAS Score is a collaborative project between the CHUV and the Geneva-based agency BeFine. It is the first application of its kind to be based on a world-renowned scientific study. The CHUV analysed over 3000 people who have lived in Switzerland and Brazil since 2013 in order to identify criteria for assessing the risk of sleep apnea.This study revealed 5 criteria that represent the risk of sleep apnea. The test thus allows to easily\u00a0diagnose patients with a high risk of \u00a0sleep apnea<\/p>\n
The sleep application is aimed at all health professionals whether they’re sleep specialists or not. The reliability and ease of use of “Lausanne NoSAS Score” helps better targeting those requiring further testing to confirm a sleep disorder.<\/p>\n
